Walking and Vehicle Group Tours from Glasgow.

Acceptance of the conditions detailed below as per Scottish Law and Custom is implied when a booking is made.

Booking -
unless otherwise stated, all of our tours require advance booking and minimum numbers may be required in your group or in the overall numbers before the tour goes ahead.
Please use any of the contact methods listed on our "Enquiries" page to tell us about your requirements and find out what we can do for you. Our office will discuss your preferences and confirm your booking.
Please note that an enquiry does not constitute a booking. A guide will always discuss and agree your requirements with you before confirming. A deposit may be required in order to confirm a booking.

Tours - the price quoted for each tour is inclusive of transportation and guiding only. Lunch and other refreshments are not included. Entrance fees to attractions are not included although reduced prices are sometimes available.

Smoking is not allowed on any of our vehicles or inside any public buildings in Scotland. This is a statutory requirement and is enforceable under the law.

Behaviour - we reserve the right to refuse to carry any person or persons whose behaviour is causing offence or alarm to others. In such cases full cancellation charges will apply.

Vehicles - we reserve the right to change the type of vehicle used if the circumstances dictate this is necessary.

Luggage - luggage is limited to one small item per person.

Alterations to Itineraries
- we reserve the right to change timetables or tour itineraries due to weather, availability of attractions, road works or other circumstances beyond our control.

General good health is required on walking tours. Any medical condition must be declared at the time of booking.

Pure Dead Brilliant Tours advises that all customers take out suitable travel, medical & cancellation insurance.

Cancellations - where the passenger cancels a tour reservation, the effective date of cancellation will be the date on which we receive notification by telephone, email or in writing. No refunds are offered if a customer is late for a tour/cannot find the pick-up point. Please be there 15 minutes before the advertised departure time. Cancellation charges for 2008/9 are applied as follows:

Day of departure - 100% of full cost 0 - 3 days - a full refund will be granted by Pure Dead Brilliant Tours if the seat or ticket can be resold. Every effort will be made to resell the seat but a 50% charge will be applied if the seat cannot be resold. In the event of a tour being cancelled by Pure Dead Brilliant Tours the customer will be fully refunded and every effort made to find a suitable alternative.

Clothing and Footwear - Pure Dead Brilliant Tours recommend that you wear something warm, something water/shower-proof and good sturdy shoes for walking and vehicle tours – unfortunately we don’t have a sunshine hotline and we will be doing tours regardless of the weather!

Complaints - all complaints should be initially directed to your driver/guide who will make every effort to resolve the problem. In the event that a complaint cannot be resolved on the day of the tour then it should be made in writing to info@puredeadbrillianttours.com

Data Protection Act
In order to process your booking and to ensure that your tour arrangements run smoothly and meet your requirements, we need to use the information you provide such as name, address, any special needs /dietary requirements etc. We take full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information.

However, we must pass the information on to public authorities such as customs /immigration purposes if required by them, or as required by law. We will not pass any information on to any person not responsible for part of your travel arrangements. This applies to any sensitive information that you give us such as details of disabilities. If we cannot pass this information to the relevant authorities, whether in the EEA or not, we cannot process your booking. In making your booking, you consent to this information being passed on to the relevant persons.
